Smoked salmon cucumber roll is a great refreshing starter for the hot seasons. It is very easy to make and requires only three ingredients. You can make a full plate of goodness in under 15mins. Ready to impress your party guest? Let us get started.
You might have seen other smoked salmon cucumber rolls recipes out there, most of them make a salmon cream cheese paste and then put it in the cucumber rolls. It is easier to roll the cucumber when you use a paste filling. However, I found the ingredients lose some of the freshness when you do it that way. I am using all raw ingredients as it is to keep the maximum fresh taste and chewy texture.
As per usual, printable recipe is at the bottom of the post along with Youtube video instructions😉.

A few things that help
There are two types of smoked salmon in most supermarkets. I recommend you to use the smoked salmon that has the chewy texture. Not the one that has the texture of an oven cooked salmon. This is to make sure your final product will have that smoother texture and taste more fresh.
The dipping sauce is not necessary. The rolls themselves can be served as it is. If you want to make your rolls have that oriental flavor, you cannot go wrong with some soy sauce based dipping sauce.
Here is a video version of what I just wrote above 🙂 Watch it if you have unlimited internet or wifi. The printer-able recipe is at the bottom of the post.
