With Valentine’s day around the corner, I thought this heart shaped churros recipe would be a great one to post! From preparing to the final product, it only took me 15mins. If you are looking for something quick and easy to make for your valentine, there is no better choice than this heart-shaped churros recipe.

Please note, different air fryer might have a slightlyheart shaped churros different performance. However, I found one that is similar to the one I have and has the best rating on Amazon. Here is what I found
Philips HD9220/20 Healthier Oil Free Airfryer (For UK), BLACK+DECKER HF110SBD 2-Liter Oil Free Air Fryer (For US)

Ingredients

Plain flour, sugar, salt, butter (unsalted), water

Steps

  1. Put 1/2 cup of water into a pot, bring to boil. Add 1/8 cup of butter, stir butter until it dissolves completely. Remove the pot from the heat.
  2. Put 1/2 cup of plain flour, stir it until it forms into a dough. Let is cool down for around 10mins. Add 1/8 tsp sugar, 1/8 tsp salt, and 1 egg. Mixed all ingredients well together.
  3. Load the mixture into a piping tube. Take out air fryer basket and start making heart shaped churros.
  4. Without pre-heat the air fryer, place the basket back into the fryer and set it to run at 200°C/392°F for 6mins. Take out after 6mins, ready to serve. (The mixture is enough to make roughly 20 heart-shaped churros in a normal sized air fryer)

Here is a video version of what I just wrote above 🙂 Watch it if you have unlimited internet or wifi.  Printer-able recipe is at the bottom of the post.

Until next time….
