15mins Home Food – Episode4 Roast Pork Rib

Welcome to my 4th episode of 15mins Home Food! Today we are making Roast pork rib. Soft and tender ribs with roasted vegetables, very easy to prepare and the oven do all the rest of work for you. Great for cold weather.

IngredientRoast Pork Rib

Pork rib, potato, tomato, onion, olive oil, white wine, salt, pepper, mixed herbs, paprika

Steps

  1. Mix salt and some olive oil together. Spread it evenly onto the pork rib
  2. Peel all the potatoes and slice them into thin slices (~3mm)
  3. Clean all the onions and slice them into thin slices (~3mm)
  4. Clean all the tomatoes and slice them into thin slices (~4mm)
  5. Layer sliced potatoes, onions, and tomatoes onto a baking tray. Pour in the white wine evenly all over the vegetables, and then spread paprika, mixed herb evenly on top of the vegetables. Oven bake 210°C/410°F for 20mins. Please check regularly, as different oven might need different times.
  6. Take baked vegetables out of the oven once it is ~70% cooked, add pork rib on top and put pepper on both sides of the pork rib. Pour some olive oil on top to make sure pork rib will remain tender after baking. Oven bake 210°C/410°F for 25mins. Please check regularly, as different oven perform differently and might need different times.

Recipe Notes

The key point to oven baked recipe is to check baked goods regularly, as different oven performs differently. A different oven might need different time compared to what is stated in the recipe.
